Stress occurs when you believe that you are unable to deal with the issues and challenges you are faced with in everyday life.The feelings could be physical, mental or emotional. Stress is generally the result of one or more external triggers, such as work deadlines or relationship difficulties. Anxiety, on the other hand, usually has internal triggers, such as childhood experiences. For both stress and anxiety, the key is to deal with the triggers that cause the unwanted responses, by changing both perceptions and responses.
